YTO (Luoyang) Diesel Engine Company, a majority-owned subsidiary of YTO Tractor Co., Ltd., was founded in 1955 and specializes in designing and manufacturing multi-cylinder diesel engines. We operate two major manufacturing bases — one in Luoyang and the other at Yangdong in Taizhou, Jiangsu —, products including 3-, 4-, and 6-cylinder engines with power outputs from 10 to 450 kW. Our five engine platforms — YD, YT, LR, YM, and YTN — deliver complete power solutions for a wide range of applications. Together, our facilities span about 400,000 square meters and can produce over 280,000 engines annually.

We focus exclusively on off-road applications and have built a strong reputation in this field over 70 years. Backed by YTO’s national-level R&D center and partnerships with world-leading institutions like Ricardo (UK) and Southwest Research Institute (USA), we keep our core technologies up to date with the international standard. With more than 7.5 million users, our diesel engines of “Dongfanghong” series are widely used in tractors, harvesters, construction equipment, generator sets, and marine propulsion, making them the top choice for off-road power in China.
